The San Francisco experience that is Non Stop Bhangra (NSB) moves into the New Year with a bang! After 7 years of full capacity shows, the award winning production moves into one of the hottest clubs in the city. With this move comes later hours, more room to dance and late night food provided by Kasa Indian. Non Stop Bhangra, a legendary monthy event, is now featured on the second Saturday of every month at Public Works in San Francisco. Since founded in 2004 when DJ Jimmy Love teamed up with Dholrhythms founders Vicki Virk & Suman Raj with the goal of bringing Bhangra to a wider audience, NSB has gone on to tour North America while hosting award winning sold out nights in San Francisco for seven years. Becoming one of the ambassadors for the sound of Bhangra in the US, the vision for the New Year is to expand on the experience. With some killer surprise guests lined up in the New Year, Non Stop Bhangra is ready to take West Coast Bhangra to a whole new level!

Kicking off their new monthly residency, the NSB crew is bringing in from New York, the much anticipated, DJ Rekha of Basement Bhangra, the longest running world renowned Bhangra party. This will be the first time Non Stop Bhangra and Basement Bhangra will share a stage, making the official launch party a show not to be missed. Still holding to its tradition, the night will start off with the famous Bhangra dance lesson and performances by Dholrhythms Dance Company followed by DJ's spinning alongside live Dhol with Pavit and vocals by Mista Chatman.

Rounding out the mix with DJ Rekha and DJ Jimmy Love, we have the return of two of Non Stop Bhangra's favorite guest dj's Suresh (Nagabeatz) and DJ Mundi. Our visual feast will feature VJ Amar as well as Marcus Murray painting another live master piece.

This month we are also excited about the addition of the Kasa Indian Food truck which will out for most of the night.

The color theme this month is RED! So join the vibe and help us turn Public Works into a Red Hot Party!
