Imagine a scene from a Bollywood movie smack in the middle of a thumping nightclub---swirling colors, the rhythm of pounding feet, and the relentless energy of brilliant beats-that’s Non Stop Bhangra.
Non Stop Bhangra is a non-stop party, featuring dance lessons with Dholrhythms Dance Company, followed by dance performances, live music sets, visuals, live painting, and DJs spinning an eclectic mix of Bhangra, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Electronica.
As always, the night begins with the ritual dance lesson with the beautiful Dholrhythms Dance Company, followed by dance performances mixed in with live dhol plus beatboxing by special guest Shamik Bigli from Vancouver, BC. Resident Dj's Jimmy Love, Rav-E and special guest Dj J. Boogie(Om Records) will be holding down the turntables and sharing their favorite Bhangra tunes to keep you moving. To round off the night, NSB Resident Marcus Murray will be painting another dope live peice to add the wicked NSB Art Collection.
