Experience the singer / songwriter Nive Nielsen who with extreme velocity and a charming cordiality has broken through on the Greenlandic music scene. She has furthermore with great conviction also performed internationally in both England and Canada.



If you've ever wondered how a ukulele-playing Eskimos sings about coffee and ghosts and Hoover’s killer sounds, then Nive Nielsen is your woman - Junior's Cave



Nive grew up in Greenland, in isolation. As a child she dreamed of becoming an adventurer. A dream, she now feels, has come true as a musician on the international scene.



Nive‘s music is inspired by blues, dusty old ethnic recordings on vinyl, mountains, ballads, 70s guitar sound and everything is easy listening and plain but never simple.



It is most experiences that inspire Nive. The text deal with everything from ghosts to Indiana Jones, coffee and love.



Just as the queen of indie music, PJ Harvej and the band Eels, Nive has worked with John Parish who has produced her debut album “Nive Sings” 2009.



In July this year she was nominated as the Indie Music Artist of the week in the music magazine Indie Music Universe and as the “Band of the Month” in Venus Zines magazine.
