Ignacio "Nacho" Chavez is a pioneer and key figure in the sound called Nortec, an energetic hybrid of Electronica and various popular musics from the north of Mexico. His trio Nino Astronauta includes two friends he lives with in Los Angeles, combining drum and bass, electronica, rare grooves and downtempo funk.
