Nile has created a unique style of music blending the ferocity of modern-day death metal with the ancient tones of the Middle East. New York-based death metallers Skinless have earned a reputation for their aggressive live shows and growing fanbase. Chthonic is a symphonic black metal band from Taiwan that incorporates influences from traditional Chinese music including instruments such as the Er-hu. The band's stated goal is to use their music to bring ancient history and mythology into the modern era, especially the tragic history and unique myths of Taiwan.
