NewFilmmakers Launch Party July 30, 2007

Join us on Monday, July 30, 2007, when an Industry Launch Party will introduce NewFilmmakers LA and its staff to Los Angeles Filmmakers and Media.

The event will be hosted by The Professionals as part of their ‘STANDARD MONDAYS’ held weekly at the Purple Lounge in the West Hollywood Standard Hotel. The evening starts at 9PM. The Evening will have an Early Open Bar provided by African Starr Rum, Mojito Island, and Korbel Champagne and will be sponsored by ROBIN’S JEANS. Music will be provided by DJ SIMON JAMES (Projections) and DJ TONY WATSON (Sentrall), voted LA Weekly’s Best Music Selector.

Then on Thursday, August 16th, NewFilmmakers LA begins its monthly program at the A+D Architecture and Design Museum in Los Angeles located on Museum Row Directly across the street from LACMA (5900 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles).

The Monthly A&D Museum Screenings will be open to the public with $5.00 admission fee. The Short Film Program will start at 7PM and the Feature Film Program at 8PM. An after-party will follow the screenings with cocktails and the opportunity for the audience to meet industry, actors, and filmmakers.
