New Year's Eve Concert for Peace December 31, 2009

Originally conceived by Leonard Bernstein, this New York tradition draws over two thousand people into the festively-decorated Cathedral to usher in the coming year and say farewell to the old. Please join Harry Smith, Judy Collins, Glen Cortese, Lauren Flannigan and other treasured guests to ring in the New Year with music, readings and meditations, and the traditional passing of candle flames while singing 'This Little Light of Mine.' The culmination of the Concert in more than a thousand points of candle light and the many voices singing together.
