New Walk Of Life Community Outreach Event July 25, 2009

Impacting the Community
On the 25th of July, New Walk of Life Church will have its second community outreach event for the summer. This event will take place at Washington Park located at 2330 Dorothy St., Montgomery, AL 36108 from 11:00 to 5:00 p.m. During this time, neighborhood participants will be able to attend workshops designed to help them cope with various life issues. Several community organizations will be available to share information concerning the following: health, finances, coping skills, etc. Air walks and other activities will be available for the children, and a clothes closet and a food pantry will be on site for those in need of assistance. Additionally, food and drinks will be served, and participants will have the opportunity to listen to live inspirational music while they eat and drink. This event promises to be informative and exciting for all in attendance. The goal of New Walk of Life Church and the partners in the community is to impact the neighborhood so that its residents are able to make informed decisions about their health, finances, and other concerns of life.
