The virtuosic 20-member New Music Ensemble from the IU Jacobs School of Music, directed by acclaimed composer David Dzubay, is known for championing a broad spectrum of contemporary music from the U.S. and around the world. The upcoming tour, "New Music from Indiana," will present recent works by IU faculty composers Claude Baker, David Dzubay, and P. Q. Phan; a world premiere by award-winning IU doctoral student Joseph Sheehan; and Toru Takemitsu's "Rain Coming."
