Join us for our semi-annual day long planning retreat – this year we’re opening it up to current, new and potential Boston Firefly Project members.

New and potential members are encouraged to attend an Amnesty International and Boston Firefly Project orientation in the morning; and join the rest of the registrants in the afternoon, all registrants for skill and content-based workshops such as Essentials Skills for Organizers, Legislative Organizing and networking and collaboration opportunities. Following lunch, we’ll hold a planning session on future events including health and human rights related activities, Close Guantanamo Bay actions and more! Participants are asked to engage in the full day of training and planning.

Registration costs range from $2-$10 and cover coffee, light breakfast, lunch and materials. You can register here: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/47359 or on our website: www.bostonfireflyproject.org. Please register by Wednesday, January 7, 2009.
