Native Peoples of Illinois August 13, 2009

Learn about the people and events that shaped the region, from Marquette and Joliet's exploration of the Illinois country in 1673 until the Native Americans were forced out by pressure from the white settlement and the efforts of the Federal government in the 1830s. This traveling exhibit was created by the staff of the Schingoethe Center at Aurora University.
