National Play Contest: Womenworx at the Vortex January 23, 2010

A festival of 10 minute plays written & directed by womenWOMENSWORX at THE VORTEX is a national women's play festival created to foster and showcase new works by women writers as interpreted by women directors.THE 8 PLAYS CHOSEN will receive a FULL PRODUCTION and a 4 WEEK RUN in January 2010. WINNERS will be notified personally, as well as posted on our website (vortexabq.org) on October 1, 2009. TWO $100 CASH PRIZES will be awarded to the playwright(s) whose plays are selected as: (1) Best play of festival by jury selection; and (2) audience favorite (votes polled during production run).Submission deadline: September 1, 2009January 8-31, 2010Friday: 8 pmSaturday: 8 pmSunday: 6 pmTickets $15
