In a new proposal, the Administration is pushing to increase damaging snowmobile use in Yellowstone National Park, a place known for Old Faithful and the last wild herd of bison. The Administration could choose to protect your opportunities to view and enjoy geysers and wildlife in the clean air and quiet intrinsic to Yellowstone’s winters. Instead, they choose to fight for more snowmobile use.

Please be a voice for Yellowstone and your favorite places by attending the Park Service hearing in Lakewood on May 30. Conservationists who have worked closely on the Yellowstone issue have reserved a separate meeting room at the Sheraton (The Red Rocks Room) prior to the hearing to discuss the implications of the Administration’s Yellowstone proposal and answer any questions you may have. They will be available starting at 4:30 p.m. The hearing runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Sheraton’s City Lights Ballroom.
