About National Dance Week Hawaii 2010
Dancers Unlimited LLC presents the first annual National Dance Week Hawaii, April 26th – May 2nd, 2010. It is the first year Hawaii joins the rest of U.S to celebrate Dance as an art form. The week features:

Discounted or free dance classes at participating Hawaii dance studios
Classes of all dance forms: Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Hula, Tahitian, Belly Dance, Middle Eastern Dance, Latin, Capoiera, Break-Dancing, Ballroom, African, Fusion, and others
Master workshops from professional choreographers and companies from the U.S and abroad
Block Party that celebrates the dance culture and community in Hawaii
Hi-Dance: Choreographer’s Festival that showcases choreography from industry professionals from the U.S, local Hawaii dance companies and studios, school dance programs, and dance companies from around the world

Taking advantage of our geographical location, we are promoting National Dance Week Hawaii as a festival for the local residents as well as visitors from around the world.

Who Will Be Attending?
Trained dancers from dance studios and schools all across Hawaii, dance companies in Hawaii, U.S, and abroad, visitors who are on vacation or specifically flying in for the NDW.

We are expecting 500 people to attend the showcase (Hi-Dance: Choreographer’s Festival), and 1,000 more to participate in dance classes and events through out the week.

Our Mission
National Dance Week Hawaii will celebrate the diversity within our own local culture and its influence on our creative and vibrant dance community. We hope to nurture the creativity of Hawaii dancers through a week of dance classes and performances. We will also provide professional opportunity through master workshops and performances. Our ultimate goal is to present Hawaii as a dance festival destination for companies and artists from Hawaii, the U.S., and abroad.

Dance Partnership
We are looking for dance studios, schools, and companies to participate by:
Offering discounted or free classes to new or existing students
Hosting a Celebrity Choreographer by offering their studio space for Master Classes
Performing at Hi-Dance: Choreographer’s Festival or National Dance Week Block Party; we are currently accepting applications through March 31st (visit HYPERLINK "http://www.DancersUnlimitedHi.com" www.DancersUnlimitedHi.com for application information)
Promoting dance events and master classes through out the week
Selling tickets for Hi-Dance: Choreographer’s Festival. Each studio / company keeps 50% of tickets that it sells

National Dance Week Sponsorship
National Dance Week Hawaii is presented to you by Dancers Unlimited LLC. We are a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contribution in behalf of Dancers Unlimited LLC may be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the fullest extend permitted by law.

We are looking for sponsors who can provide monetary assistance and / or the following services:
Workshop and performance space
Tech equipment- sound, lighting, DJ booth, etc
Videographers, video editors, and photographers for all workshops and events
Airline mileage or air fare for guest performers and choreographers
Hotel or vacation rental accommodation
Car rental and / or transportation service for performances to / from workshops and performances
Marketing, advertising, and PR
Printing and graphics services

Vendor Opportunity
Vendors may purchase booth spots at National Dance Week Block Party and Hi-Dance: Choreographer’s Festival. Booths cost:
$200 - $300 for the Block Party
$50 - $200 North Shore Dance & Wellness Festival
$100 - $500 for Hi-Dance: Choreographer’s Festival.

About Dancers Unlimited LLC
We are a group of professional dancers and choreographers who call Hawaii home. Our mission is to provide excellent dance education and performance opportunities to youths and artists in Hawaii. We hope to use dance as a platform to inspire achievement and create changes we seek within ourselves and our community.

Our current non-profit projects include: Furlough Friday Dance Series and Free Dance Classes at various after-school programs and University of Hawaii in Manoa.
