National Constitution Center New Year's Eve / 215-701-1960 December 31, 2010

1,500 people come together every year for a sold out New Year’s Eve event held at the National Constitution Center. For the past 7 years, the motto of “dress up, get down and ring in the new year” has served partygoers well. Selling out all the previous years, and guaranteed to sell out this year as well, the 8th Annual Glitter City Gala is an event that is not to be missed.

The National Constitution Center boasts two huge floors for partygoers to dance the night away without experience claustrophobic tendencies despite having one of the biggest New Year’s Eve crowds in Philadelphia. Dance the entire night away to the energetic sounds of The Soul Cruisers, one of the best high-energy dance bands on the East Coast. A five hour open bar will be available whenever guests are ready to take a break from the dance floor. Wine and dine on heavy hors d’oeuvres and food stations located within the venue. Once midnight hits, partygoers can celebrate alongside the 1,500 other people and celebrate with champagne toasts, spectacular fireworks display, and complimentary party favors to go around.

In addition to general admission and VIP tickets, the 8th Annual Glitter City Gala has a new upgrade this year featuring reserved V-VIP Table Service that will give guests “behind the velvet rope” access to their very own reserved lounge area complete with everything from sofas, private bar, to their very own waitress service.
