The Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering is organizing a National Conference on Recent Advances in Design Engineering at the institute during 22-24 February, 2007 as part of year long celebration.

In recent years, rapid developments are taking place in the field of Design Engineering to achieve excellence in the areas of Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Biomedical, Manufacturing etc. The objective of this conference is to bring the academicians, professional engineers and researchers in the field of design engineering on a common platform to exchange ideas relating to the recent advances and applications in design engineering.
