Nate Pruitt - Primary Colors March 5, 2006

Vocalist Nate Pruitt and guitarist Rick Vandivier are Primary Colors, a jazz and blues duo featuring other great musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their music, although primarily jazz and blues, also includes elements of swing, soul, pop, spiritual, and Latin ... even a trademark deep Southern yodel. Nate and Rick first formed their musical association in 1980. Originally meeting at the Garden City, a former jazz hub of San Jose, California. The next decade saw many gigs, two albums and a European tour. As the 90?s rolled around, Rick and Nate continued to perform together as a duo and with larger groups, formalizing their musical association with the group, Primary Colors, in 1993.
