Radiant Bay Area vocalist Natasha Miller returns to Yoshi?s for an evening of exquisite songs destined to become future jazz classics. Featured on her new recording, Don?t Move (Poignant Records), Natasha?s repertoire includes songs written by 81 year-old songwriter Bobby Sharp and arranged by first-class West Coast pianists for a three-piece horn section and string ensemble. While Natasha?s flawless phrasing turns any performance into an intimate engagement, the expanded ensemble calls to mind the Stan Kenton Orchestra or Nelson Riddle?s full string section, making it a truly swinging affair. Joining Natasha Miller will be Jeff Lewis, trumpet; Rob Roth, saxophones; Liz Prior, viola; Josh Nelson, piano; Dan Feiszli, bass; David Rokeach, drums; and special guest Bobby Sharp.
