Nashoba Valley Concert Band Spring Concert May 6, 2007

The Nashoba Valley Concert Band, under the direction of Mr. John Blackwell, will be presenting a performance of classic concert band selections on Sunday, May 6 at 2pm at Ayer High School. Selections will include such favorites as: Gustav Holst's Second Suite for Military Band, Beethoven's Egmont Overture and selections from Leonard Bernstein's Candide.

The Nashoba Valley Concert Band, formerly known as The Harvard Town Band, has undergone a transformation in recent years, almost doubling its membership and instrumentation, and producing a sound that is quite remarkable for a 40+piece volunteer, amateur community band.

This concert is free to the public.
