Napa Valley Festival del Sole – Beach Party, Concert and Dinner July 16, 2012

This will be a night like no other – a beach party, Napa style! – together with the music, cuisine and memories of a perfect Festival del Sole experience.
Guests will kick off their shoes on the sandy beach at La Herradura Ranch's private lake, while sipping tropical drinks and enjoying the Caribbean sounds of Pan Extasy. (Please arrive promptly at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy this celebration!)
The “Grand Dame” of Napa Valley vineyard estates, La Herradura Ranch teems with history. A year-round creek runs through the Ranch’s graceful 153 acres, and the gardens are gently shaded by statuesque oaks – so dignified, so old, that they precede the discovery of California by Europeans. The stone winery on the property (completed in 1887) was formerly known as Mt. Cove Winery. The structure has been masterfully restored and features a commercial kitchen, wood burning fireplace and indoor and outdoor entertaining areas.
The stone winery's ambience and acoustics will be showcased after the beach party in a private concert with classical guitarist Angel Romero, cellist Nina Kotova, and the Russian National Orchestra String Quartet.
Following the concert, guests will feast on a sumptuous dinner prepared by Chef Mourad Lahlou, executive chef and owner of Aziza in San Francisco, one the most dynamic and individual chefs in the Bay Area. His strikingly modern reinventions of traditional Moroccan dishes showcase the flavors of his native cuisine in ways that harmonize with the fresh, local, artisanal ingredients of Northern California. Aziza has earned a Michelin star for the last three consecutive years under Lahlou’s leadership.
Recommended attire: Sporty and casual. It's a beach party! We recommend practical shoes, and wraps for later in the evening.
