"My Shanghai": Migrant students' photography exhibit March 22, 2008

"My Shanghai" is an exhibit showcasing photographs taken by sixth grade students from Jin Hu Primary School. Art teachers and volunteers instructed the students in basic photography skills. Students were given cameras to capture images of their daily lives, expressing their unique perspective of Shanghai as home. These photographs depict their family, friends and ideas of hope and beauty.

A jury of artists selected the top photos to be exhibited. Photographs are available for purchase and proceeds will go towards Jin Hu School and student scholarships.

Exhibit runs until March 30.
