Mummies of the World August 11, 2011

The Franklin Institute hosts the East Coast debut of the highly-anticipated 'Mummies of the World' exhibition. The first exhibit of its kind to be held at the Institute, 'Mummies' features a remarkable collection of both naturally and intentionally preserved mummies from around the world. Among the highlights is a 6,400-year-old child mummy from Peru, one of the oldest child mummies ever found.
