Pianist Mulgrew Miller spent some of his early years absorbing the music of two influential hotbeds of American music: the Mississippi Delta, birthplace of the blues, and Memphis, Tennessee, a cradle of great jazz pianists. His trio features Ivan Taylor on bass and Rodney Greene on drums.
