Chester County’s Summer 2010 Town Tours and Village Walks series, Aug 5 at 5:30p. "Movie Making in Historic Yellow Springs" It's FREE and full of local movie making lore. Join a movie-making tour of Yellow Springs’ film history, highlighting the 1959 sci-fi hit “The 4D Man.” Discover how the buildings and grounds became movie sets for actors such as Robert Lansing, Lee Meriwether and the young Patty Duke. Good News Productions (GNP) devised imaginative special effects and took advantage of the historic structures and landscape to enhance the impact of the film. Costumed characters will give first-person narratives with vintage photographs of the GNP in action. Light refreshments and a full showing of the film will follow the tour.
