The Mountain Heritage Festival is a fun-filled family event held annually Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend from 10:00 – 5:00 at the Mountain Life Museum in Blairsville, Georgia. Mountain arts, music, food, and other traditions celebrating the cultural heritage of the north Georgia mountains featuring locally produced handcrafts, traditional foods, music, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and live animals. These heritage activities help tell the story of life in this rugged land a century ago, giving us a glimpse of the inventive, hardworking, and self-sufficient mountain people who settled this area.
