Moondog Orchestra | Sea Lions | Plague Vendor | Los Cometas @ Silverlake Lounge [free] May 21, 2012

We welcome you to join us this coming Monday, May 21st at Silverlake Lounge, where we will be hosting our first of many upcoming showcases. For our first show we have selected an eclectic array of talented bands and are very excited to be able to bring to you a night full of outstanding sounds.

Starting the night will be Long Beach natives, LOS COMETAS who’s spanish garage rock is sure to get the night started with high spirits. Then the very talented SEA LIONS, (who are coming all the way from Oxnard,CA to be with us), will lay down a set of their surf, post-punk tunes. I highly recommend them! Before your ears have a chance to come back to their senses, the fantastic MOONDOG ORCHESTRA will then kick you in the face with their high energy blues rock. Before it’s all set and done, PLAGUE VENDOR will be closing the evening with some garage rock, a band who knows how to deliver.

Please come out, socialize and have some fun while supporting local, independent music.
This is a FREE SHOW, so there is no excuse!
