Since 1989, Monster Magnet has survived rock 'n' roll's ever-changing moods, despite numerous personnel changes and career highs and lows. One of the true retro groups to emerge in the '90s, the band's sound has embraced a fusion of metal, punk, space rock and psychedelic influences, added with a sludgy, feedback-heavy sound that helped them stand out from contemporaries like the Black Crowes and White Zombie among others.
