Modesto Blues Festival June 14, 2008

The Fifth Annual Modesto Blues Fesival, and United Community Walk, takes place on Flag Day at Graceada Park, on Father's Day weekend. This Modesto Area Music Awards twice nominated event is produced by JB Presents, and features some of the finest blues players in Northern California. The line up is yet to be set, but likely return guests, MoFo Party Band, MAMA award 2007 winner DJ Slate and Rocket 88, likely, new plans for Ron Hacker and the Hacksaws, and others we know on the list. United Community Walk is the festivals network opening event, with local nonprofits, and hosted again by NAMI Stanislaus, and National Night Out, and may meander downtown, or possibly up the new Virginia Corridor Walking park. This is a Free All ages event, sponsor spots and vendor opportunities still open and needed to bring the best festival we can to Mancini Bowl, in beautiful Graceada Park bordering downtown Modesto. This year's art venue, will have more artists, throughout the festival area.
