Mobile Payments Deep Dive May 9, 2008

The Telecom Council's Mobile Forum presents a Deep Dive on mobile payments. The mobile payment ecosystem is at a critical juncture these days. Few people would argue that using the mobile phone to make payments, transfer money, do P2P and P2B over RF and over networks is in our future. The big questions are: When and how? Our Mobile Payments event seeks to bring together experts and the mobile commerce community to answer those two critical questions.

At this event, we will feature speakers from leading mobile payment solutions companies to explain their vision for how the model will shake out, both in the USA and abroad. We're bringing in experts to discuss the solutions in leading markets of Korea and Japan. Are we destined to be a fragmented market with myriad solutions - none of which can reach the scale needed to succeed - or does a leader gather scale, gain market power, and become the new 800 pound gorilla?
