Mizzou Black & Gold Tiger Ball April 23, 2010

Tiger Ball is an annual gala and auction held in Kansas City that benefits the Mizzou Alumni Association - Kansas City Chapter's Alumni Scholars Program and the Tiger Scholarship Fund. The Alumni Scholars Program awards more than $50,000 annually in scholarships to MU students from the greater Kansas City area. The Tiger Scholarship Fund provides funding for the University’s athletic department to continue recruiting athletes with academic prowess. In 2008, Mizzou boasted the highest graduation rate and GPA of all schools in the Big 12. Since its inception in 2000, Tiger Ball has raised more than $430,000 for Mizzou student scholarships. Last year alone, the ball raised over $40,000 in scholarship funds.
