In Misterman we enter the head of Thomas Magill, an unstable man in his mid- thirties, whose confused mission is to bring God to his fellow townsfolk of Inishfree. Magill is an amusing and vaguely sympathetic character until he falls in love with a local girl who doesn?t return his affection and his darker side is revealed. A disturbingly amusing journey that takes an achingly tragic turn, the voices of the main players are brought to life through one actor aided only by a tape recorder. First staged in Cork in 1999, Misterman went on to receive great acclaim throughout Europe.
