Miss District of Columbia Scholarship Pageant July 1, 2006

Miss District of Columbia is a young woman with a purpose. She makes a difference in her city. She is bright, talented and well spoken.

The Miss District of Columbia pageant is an official preliminary of the Miss America Organization. The titleholder will represent the District of Columbia at the Miss America competition and will serve the Washington community throughout her year of service.

Shannon Schambeau, Miss DC 2005 placed in the Top Five at the 2006 Miss America Pageant.
