On Saturday, Feb. 10, we’re bringing in one of our all time favorites, Miskate (real name Kate Iwanowicz), who co-founded Foundsound Records with partner Someone Else (Sean O’Neil).

Together, they have firmly established Foundsound as one of the most captivating minimal techno labels out of the U.S., delivering release from such notables as Barem, Agnes, and Butane, as well as their own collaborative works such as the unforgettable conceptual techno debut EP "Rip it Cookie Muenster."

Fresh from shaking up clubs in Europe, Miskate has infused the genre of minimal techno with playful, psychotropic elements that integrate quirky found sound sources and looped-up field recordings with deep tech-house beats that are sure to pack the dance floor .
