Madison Avenue between 57th and 86th Streets
New York City, New York

Miracle on Madison Avenue is an annual charity shopping event that brings together leading luxury retailers, restaurants and galleries on Madison Avenue in support of New York?s neediest children.

On December 4th, over 125 participating establishments on Madison Avenue will donate 20 percent of the day?s sales to The Children?s Aid Society?s health care programs, which provide much needed care to children who might not otherwise get basic medical attention.

A special opening ceremony featuring speeches, a ribbon cutting and a performance by The Children?s Aid Society?s Chorus, will kick off the day. Madison Avenue will be closed off to vehicular traffic from 68th to 72nd Streets, the only day of the year that the avenue is closed.

Shoppers will be treated to an array of distinctive experiences in specialty tents lining the avenue. The Taste of Madison Avenue Tent at 68th Street will be presented by the Madison Avenue BID and will feature gourmet selections from area restaurants; The Children?s Aid Society Hospitality Tent on 69th Street will offer the opportunity to purchase A Little Star holiday cards designed by Children?s Aid kids and delicious cookies from Patti Paige Baked Ideas and Margaret Palca Bakes; a gift-wrapping station at 71st Street will be sponsored by The Bank of New York, Miracle on Madison Avenue?s exclusive financial sponsor; and The Bank of New York Spa Tent at 72nd Street will feature luxury treatments from the Clarins Skin Spa.
