Minipop is a rock band from San Francisco, California. Built for the Sea is a female-fronted indie-rock band from San Francisco led by Lia Rose (ex-Minipop). This San Francisco-based artist makes folk and electronic music sound that much better by putting them together. His gauzy synthesizer and pitter-pattering drum machines make his delicate guitar-strumming and reedy voice more complex, while the acoustic instrumentation adds an earthy texture to his computerized concoctions.
