Speaker: Min Zhu, Founding Partner of Cybernaut Venture Capital Management, and Venture Partner of NEA

For a decade, this name, Min Zhu, has been associated with the every success of WebEx, a leading Internet conferencing platform company who has left those heavyweights, like Microsoft, IBM, and Cisco in the dust in head-to-head competition. WebEx created even more buzz early this year while Cisco acquired the company for $3.2 billion, the second largest deal for Cisco in the past 5 years. It might not be well known to people in Silicon Valley that, around the same time, Min donated 10 million US dollars to establish Zhejiang University Innovation Institute, International. Min started his new venture in China 2 years ago, co-founded Cybernaut, a VC firm focusing on early stage investment in China, and became venture partner of New Enterprise Associates, one of the prestigious US VC firms.

Min is one of the founders and board members of HYSTA, and served as president of HYSTA in 2003-2004. We are honored to have him back to share his takes from a two-year “returnee” journey, along with being an entrepreneur, an investor, and a philanthropist.
