Mill Valley Film Festival October 6, 2005

Known as a filmmakers? festival, the annual Mill Valley Film Festival offers a high-profile, prestigious, non-competitive environment perfect for celebrating the best independent and world cinema. This year's festival will present Tributes to Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Michael Powell (presented by Thelma Schoonmaker), Donald Sutherland, and Jeff Daniels. There will be a Spotlight on Felicity Huffman. The 2005 Festival will present over 200 films from 55 countries.

Presented by the California Film Institute, the 28th Festival runs October 6?16, 2005, at the CinéArts@Sequoia and 142 ThrockmortonTheatre (Mill Valley), Century Cinema (Corte Madera), and at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center (San Rafael). Tickets are $10 and available to members on September 14, and to the general public on September 18.
