Tonight's show is an exciting amalgamation of up-and-coming singer/songwriters featuring performers from the most promising corners of today's acoustic pop rock scene. Mikey Wax sings catchy pop tunes and soft, almost haunting love songs and is quickly rising to the top. And you'll recognize local singers Brian Jarvis and Alexis Babini from their occasional StageOne opening sets. Jarvis mixes acoustic pop with a stronger rock sound and Babini brings bouncy, summery melodies and uniquely textured vocals.
