Mike Relm with The Sideshow plus Rev Shines September 24, 2008

San Francisco's MIKE RELM is known for live performances which feature a series of audio mash-ups with video images, manipulated in real-time. It's all captured on the critically acclaimed video turntablist's recent DVD Clown Alley on his Radio Fried Films. "Finally! Mike Relm fights off clowns from revealing what's in the all-important briefcase from the magical realm (pun intended) of 3D! In this latest Relm produced, directed and edited feature, the suit and tie DJ/VJ is seen doing what he does best--chop and screw video clips and records simultaneously" (URB). He's completed remixes for Adult Swim in conjunction with the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie, scored a short film for the Disney Channel series "Too Many Robots," created a four-song mega mix for "Yo Gabba Gabba" (Nickelodeon), toured arenas with the Blue Man Group, and played Coachella. Mike Relm shows no signs of slowing down, and definite signs of mashing-up.
