Mike Barnet is an urban folk singer-songwriter from SoCal. Thought provoking and socially aware, Mike Barnet's lyrics contain a spirit that is missing in most songs written today. Blending elements of folk, groove and protest, Mike creates music to think and vibe to. Armed with his acoustic guitar, Mike Barnet has the rare ability to create songs memorable enough to shake world views to the oundation. And if given the chance, he will capture the minds of anyone with in earshot. Migrating from the Seattle Washington to Fullerton California, Mike's musical journey has been a few years in the making. Playing all over the west coast, he continually gains the respect of audiences and critics alike.

"Have you heard the young, creative-hurricane from these parts known as Adrian Bourgeois? He's so good and writes some pretty kick-ass pop songs, and I'm not talking about current bullshit radio pop stuff but more like the Beatles, Beach Boys type stuff that came out of the 60's/70's. Really awesome stuff..." So remarked former (and future) True Love Coffeehouse owner and Sacramento music legend Kevin Seconds, following a certain young musician's rousing set to a packed crowd on closing night at the True Love. Adrian Bourgeois is one of Sacramento''s youngest rising musicians yet his lyrics reflect an old soul. 18 years and over 100 songs later, Adrian is no stranger to the Sacramento scene, performing often at coffee shops such as Luna's Cafe and the Fox and Goose as well as larger venues such as the Crest Theater, the Warehouse, and Cesar Chavez Park, either playing solo or with a band. He is currently signed to a developmental deal with DC3 Entertainment, based out of Seattle, and has just finished working with legendary producer David Houston on recording tracks for a new ep tentatively to be released early next year. Adrian is an afficianado of music of the sixties and seventies such as the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Elvis Costello, and Neil Young, and former SN&R music writer Jackson Griffith observed after watching him perform, "The supple vocal melodies he wrapped his voice around sounded vauguely Beatlesque-- not unlike the music of the late singer-songwriter Elliott Smith, or Alex Chilton''s work with Big Star."

Patrick Proctor is a Davis based singer-songwriter who writes catchy folk pop, hook laden tunes that just ask you to hum along and ask for more. Patrick opens-get there at 8 pm for the big show.
