Mika Yoshida studied at the University of Toronto in the Advanced Certificate in Performance program under Russell Hertenberger in 1999 and 2000. She has devoted herself to marimba performance, and her musical studies have been strongly influenced by world-renowned percussion ensemble NEXUS. Yoshida and clarinettist Richard Stoltzman will perform the music of Bach, Ravel, Reich, and more at this very special concert.
