The Mighty Crows is a high-energy Bay Area band that plays foot stompin’ traditional bluegrass featuring songs of the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Vern Williams, Jimmy Martin, and others.
We’ll be at the Riptide in SF on Saturday (April 28). We've played here several times and always have a fun time. Great staff, fun crowd. Come party with us! There is a funky pizza place next door and the beach is a short walk away. Come early…stay late.
The Riptide, built in 1941, has the look and feel of a small town lodge and is labeled as San Francisco's Tahoe by the Sea. In addition to rustic brick flooring and high ceilings, the original knotty pine walls and raging fireplace add warmth you can feel as soon as you step inside. http://www.riptidesf.com/about.htm
Mighty Crows:
Mark Wardenburg, fiddle
Ken Torke, mandolin
Jeff Zieba, banjo
John Kael, bass
Chris Smith, guitar

“It doesn't get any more straight ahead than that; you all are ‘bluegrass boys’ for sure.
