Last February MIGHTY brought you JFK of MSTRKRFT, now we are proud to present the other half of the acclaimed group, AL-P. Please join us on Friday, December 9th, for an intimate night of music.

Al-P was producer for Black Cat 13, Death from Above 1979's album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine and The Sick Lipstick's Sting Sting Sting. Well before MSTRKRFT, Al-P and Keeler collaborated in the late 1990s, then lived in different cities as Al-P moved to New York and worked at the studios Sound on Sound and Chung King, and did some recording for Jay-Z and Wyclef Jean.

“We’re interested in making people feel like they want to dance, at least a little bit, so it’s all about whatever it takes to get people there.” - MSTRKRFT

a little background on MSTRKRFT.......

MSTRKRFT (pronounced "Master-craft") is an electronic music group from Toronto (The Beaches), Ontario, Canada who are signed to Dim Mak Records. The group was started in 2005 by JFK formerly of Death from Above 1979 and Al-P formerly of the Mississauga electropop group Girlsareshort. The duo have been close friends, as well as work partners, for a long time. MSTRKRFT also produced Die Mannequin's first EP, How to Kill, and Magneta Lane's second LP, Dancing With Daggers.

Nisus' sets seem to astonish every time, flowing seamlessly through electro bangers to womping dubstep explosions and tech-funk tweaks, leaving crowds in an inspired mess of sweat and revelation. He runs the bass game in SF like no other. Holding down a two year residency for powerhouse promoter blasthaus. Nisus has supported acts such as Fake Blood, Vitalic, The Bloody Beetroots, and Boys Noize at Mighty, Mezzanine, and The Independent. His productions are whipped up electronic analog bass frenzies that have gained momentum through his recent winning of the Outside Lands remix contest.

Opening set by DJ Sleazemore.
