MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM - a modern day twist on Shakespeare's classic comedy by The YellowChair Performance Experience June 12, 2009

Egeus wants his daughter Hermia to marry local yob Demetrius, so as to get in on his father's mafia connections. Hermia would rather marry wimpy billionaire Lysander.
Theseus, Duke of London, has to make the final decision, but he is more concerned about the happiness of all involved, rather than the politics of the partnering.
Under the guise of Oberon, King of Shadows, find out how Theseus gets Demetrius to fall for desperate glamour model Helena instead, with the hindrance of hippy Puck, and the help of lovely lavender please......

Performance starts at 7pm. The run lasts 50 minutes, Q&A with the cast at 8. Please bring a cushion as you're likely to be sitting on the floor.

The Yellowchair Performance Experience (www.t-y-p-e.net) was set up in 2003 to give new talent their first chance to perform on the London Fringe. Originally "talent" referred to actors but recently it has expanded to include writers, directors and designers.
