Recycling "Shore" Matters!

Your recycling at the Midshore Recycling Drop-Off stations supports local jobs, economy and environment, conserves resources, reduces waste . . .

Thank you for separating your items that provide extra high quality resources for new products, especially paper and glass.
Paper collected by the Midshore Regional Recycling Program goes to a local company that provides 30 local jobs, last year generated over $150,000 in revenue and avoided over $90,000 in disposal fees.
We Really Recycle Glass Bottles! - Your glass goes to PA companies that make new glass bottles, not aggregate or landfill cover. Glass Bottle to Bottle recycling yields 10x better Greenhouse Gas benefits.
The energy savings by recycling one aluminum can is equal to the energy used by a television in 3 hours.
Last year recycling revenue exceeded $250,000, a new high!
