On Sunday, April 1, 2007 at 7:00pm, the University of Michigan’s only student-run and student-directed orchestra presents Pops in Paris, playing selections from well-known movies, shows, Broadway, and more! Highlights include music from Beauty and the Beast, Moulin Rouge, and Les Miserables; The Can Can; Saint-Saens’ Danse Bacchanale; and Gershwin’s An American in Paris. Pops in Paris also incorporates a chorus, vocal and instrumental soloists, multimedia, lighting effects, and antics, promising to be an exciting and entertaining show for all!
