Comic actor Michael Showalter is best known for the 2000 film comedy 'Wet Hot American Summer' (produced with David Wain), and as a member of the comic trio Stella, alongside Wain and Michael Ian Black. Showalter wrote and directed the 2005 comedy, ''The Baxter,' distributed by IFC.
