Toronto-based stride pianist, singer, and songwriter Miachael Kaeshammer has developed a large international following since his debut as a teenage wunderkind in 1996. Nominated for multiple Juno awards (Canada’s equivalent of the Grammy), Kaeshammer won both Musician of the Year and Performer of the Year at 2002’s West Coast Music Awards. His personal charisma, quick wit, and phenomenal keyboard technique make him the consummate entertainer. He brings his electrifying live show to New York’s Blue Note in September. His critically acclaimed new album Lovelight is available now in Canada and will be available stateside this fall.
