Michael Feinstein Revives the Great American Songbook March 31, 2007

Acclaimed singer Michael Feinstein returns to Marin Center in an exclusive Bay Area appearance, performing a revival of The Great American Songbook. The four-time Grammy award winner has been a household name since the success of his 1988 one-man Broadway show, Isn’t It Romantic. He is nationally recognized for his commitment to the American popular song with interpretations of the genre that both celebrates its art and preserves its legacy for the next generation.

Through his live performances (from Hollywood Bowl to Carnegie Hall), recordings, film and television appearances, and his songwriting (in collaboration with Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Lindy Robbins and Carole Bayer Sager), Feinstein has been an important musical force during the past 20 years.
