Metropolitan Ring Cycle May 7, 2012

Met Ring Cycle is a showcase of five operas directed by Wagner. The operas will be shown every Monday and Wednesday at 7pm starting May 7, and ending May 21. The series begins with a documentary by Wagner about the making of his shows. The documentary is followed by "Das Rheingold", "Die Walkure", "Siegfried", and ends with "Gotterdammerung". The performances have been edited down from their live runtimes, with one 15 minute intermission. Tickets will be $18 per show, and $80 for all five.
